Evidence that Chris Rosebrough (Pirate Christian) Knows Something About the Doctrines of Grace

Sometimes Chris Rosebrough can sound a bit like Tim Keller:

Sometimes in our battle against false doctrine we can lose site of the fact that the pure Gospel that we are battling for is this amazing news that God so LOVED the world that He Gave is only begotten Son.
Christians have been given the ministry of reconciliation. To announce to mankind that in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them and calling them to repentance and faith in Christ for the forgiveness of their sins.
Sometimes, Christians who are zealous for the truth wage their battles more like Muslim Extremists rather than Christians. But, before you point your finger at other bloggers and say “boy is that right about so and so”. Ask yourself if you’re not the one who is guilty of doing that.
I know that in my case this has been true at times. - Chris Rosebrough (Pirate Christian)

Big Tent Christianity

Pictured: Nadia Bolz-Weber, Jay Bakker, Tony Jones, and Chris Rosebrough.

What, Dan Kimball isn't in the photo?  The Pirate Christian flag in the background is cool but seriously, only one of the three is a Christian pirate.  The other three are claimed to be heretics? I understand the photo was taken during an emergent church conference.  Now I know who the Nadia is that critics of Pirate Christian reference in their tweets to Chris.

Tony Jones tweeted this photo from Big Tent Christianity with the tag:
Disagree? Sure, but still together in Christ.
Apparently Ken Silva took some offense to Tony’s interpretation of this moment, which I find terribly interesting when you consider that Tony was there and Ken was not there. In his post, Correcting Tony Jones, Ken interprets the this picture as one man (Chris Rosebrough – far right),
a Christian, reaching out to three people who desperately need to hear the Gospel of repentance and the forgiveness of their sins in Jesus’ Name.
My interpretation? I see four people posing, with smiles, for a picture.

Breaking News: Pirate Christian (Chris Rosebrough) New Banana Man of Spiritual Discernment?

Overheard on Twitter, CRN (Christian Research Network) in it’s defense of Ingrid Schlueter is calling Pirate Christian (Chris Rosebrough) the new banana man with zero spiritual discernment? This is a reference to Ray Comfort’s error with a banana.
